I've officially decided to be an art minor. I enjoy it and am apparently good enough that it would be viable for me to, and I can't say I mind. This semester I took a drawing class and really thought I improved because of it. I'm not drawing from the grid for everything anymore, and I think that's a step up, however small. Currently I'm working on a fairly big piece, too, and am surprised by how well it's turning just by looking at pictures. It got spilled on by a family member who'll have to keep her distance from me for the near future, and I had to start over. After Sam, though, I'm at a loss at what to do next. I feel as though I should start branching out with my art mediums, but I also feel as though I should be getting more comfortable with the one I already have before I try it out. If I did something new, I think it w

I made this deviantart originally to post a picture that took me weeks to draw. But then I looked around and saw everyone else's fantastic or beyond fantastic work and now I'm ashamed and embarrassed to even say that I draw. You have no idea. I'm just terrified that my art isn't up to some of the not only original but amazing work that's posted here. I mean, I still have to use a reference image, and even then it never comes out exactly right. I use regular paper, a Pink Pet eraser, and a mechanical pencil for just about everything I draw. So for now I'll just continue to use this account to stalk people who are actually...good....at drawin

Thank you so much for the watch. I really appreciate it. :)
I really appreciate your art, so I guess we're even there. I wish I was half as good as you.
